Sonya has dedicated her career to nurturing young hearts and minds, beginning her work in children's ministries as early as middle school. She holds a degree in Elementary Education and is passionate about creating environments where children light up when they learn something new.

Sonya joined The Branch Church staff in 2026, but has attended the church since 2014, and has been serving in various capacities since 2015 from the nursery, to teaching TOTs, and various roles in Vacation Bible School (VBS). She finds it deeply encouraging to watch children learn about Jesus and live out a childlike faith.

Sonya enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering at school, and traveling. Her love for teaching has taken her globally, including mission work teaching children in China and Chile. She is married to Ryan, and together they have three children: Hayden, Easton, and Aly.

Becca arrived in Ohio summer 2016 on her way to Wisconsin to study with YWAM for 6 months. After jumping straight in as a substitute in VBS a week after arriving she has been around in kids ministry in New Phila since then (when she’s in the country)! Coming from Northern Ireland Becca’s break from teaching in a public school became more than just 6 months when she decided to stay in Ohio and attend Off The Wall Fall 2017. Since then she has been serving in kids, nursery, VBS and outreach whenever she can. When she’s not serving in kids at church you can find her supporting education with the Off The Wall staff kids, meeting people at local coffee shops, or curled up with a book. Becca enjoys making the Bible come alive to children, singing and dancing with them during worship, and wondering with them about their big questions.
